I have children In my head The ones that sleep Until you feed Them With music Words Extended bellies From letters gathered in song As they rush past The tendrils of willow I cast Out my net And drag my cargo Of disheveled letters clambering to be words Uplifting gives them breath to speak to me For the were drowning In my head Swimming Treading Streaming In need of song And I sing To my self Only to be caught Talking to myself Out loud Someday They will understand It is only a prank The children in my head Play on me Making me appear insane 10-24-2014
