Garden Glen of Hope and Despair

i am
i am
i am an amazing animal
a species undefined by nature
for i exist in the mind of creatures too small to be said to possess a mind
and sensibility

i am a stalker of mankind
i hunt and prey on their weaknesses but i am not a virus or bacteria
i am thought
incongruent thought
that can be used to created beauty and harmony
but in the right moments
despair 
for the unknown conquers when fear sets in
am i fear
no fear is self-created
self-taught
i have always existed
i was here before you were born
i was here before the earth was born

don't you hear the humming
the distant sound of bees swirling
you are the honey, the nectar we gather
you are energy stored
