I have seen my sides
inside outside
above and below
the depths of darkness and light
I know all humanity is inside of me
and beyond the grasp I can hold
no longer is bewilderment
a plaything
it is a real thing
to divide and enclose
distill and postulate
turn the wonder into suppose
suppose I could end world hunger
what would I do?
suppose I could feed just one more mouth
from the seeds of my garden
do I share and teach them how to grow?
suppose there is not water for the plants to flourish
how do I acquire it from the sky?
suppose I raise my voice
and feed just one
be it friend or foe
suppose I give it a try
even if it is by spoonful
from the tears I cry
I water my garden and share with a passerby
