I saw her
Standing there
Twiddling her thumbs
Crossing over
Between bewildered and turmoil
I cast a shadow
In her direction causing her to gasp
Though she did not see me
I knew she felt my pretense
A wave of encouragement
Swept over her and she began to walk away
Turning back, she bent down
Sweeping her hand over the pavement
Where her feet had once stayed
She placed the bit of unsung air in her pocket
And skipped away
I smiled
One more good deed done
